Will my subtitles show on the TV?
A Bravia has no access to a subtitle file sitting on your PC, so casting normally arrives without the words you were relying on.
AIX Player renders supported subtitle formats into the picture before it leaves your machine, so the television does not need to read the subtitle file itself — including external files you loaded.
What if my TV refuses the file?
Where a Bravia cannot read part of a supported file, AIX Player converts that part while the video streams. Supported Intel, AMD and NVIDIA graphics hardware can accelerate video conversion; on Qualcomm, only H.264 encoding is hardware-assisted, and other stages use the processor.

Can I cast video from PC to a Sony Bravia?

My Bravia shows a model number, not a name
Look for the room instead. Bravia sets usually appear under the name given during setup. If it was never renamed, the model number is what shows in the cast list.
Does casting work with Sony Google TV models?
Yes. Newer Bravia sets run Google TV, so they can be reached that way as well — AIX Player picks whichever route works best.
How do I stop 4K stuttering on my Bravia?
Wire the television if the port is there. An Ethernet cable is an effective troubleshooting step for stuttering on large 4K files because it removes Wi-Fi from the path.
