Play Jellyfin, Emby and Plex on your Windows PC
Sign in to your own server, browse posters, shows and episodes, then play on your PC without rebuilding that library somewhere else.
One allowance for media-server playback, once—not per session.
Pro removes the media-server time limit for Jellyfin, Emby and Plex.
One place for all three servers
AIX Player connects to Jellyfin, Emby and Plex. Browse the library your server already knows—posters, seasons, episodes and playback progress—then open the selected title on the PC.
Connect and play
- Open Media Servers. Connected and discovered servers appear together.
- Choose Jellyfin, Emby or Plex. Follow the sign-in shown by the app; Plex linking uses plex.tv/link.
- Browse your library. Open shows, seasons, episodes or films from the server’s own hierarchy.
- Play on this PC. Original quality is the default, and you can choose a server-converted quality when you need one.
Direct or server-converted quality
AIX Player can play directly from all three server families. If the original is too large for the connection or device, choose a quality preset and let the selected server provide that version. The result depends on the server, source and network.
What leaves your PC
The connection is to the server you choose. Its sign-in token is encrypted by Windows for your user account and removed when you remove that connection. Plex linking contacts Plex, and your server can record progress or watched status under its own privacy policy. AIX Apps does not receive your server library or viewing history. Read the privacy policy.
Media-server titles play on your PC. Casting those server items to a television is not supported in this version; supported local files can still be cast.
Bring your server library to AIX Player.
